About FSAE

FSAE stands for Formula Society of Automotive Engineers. It is an outlet for college engineering students, faculty and alumni to solve real world engineering problems. Classroom environments are not always conducive to develop important hands on expertise. Formula SAE helps students use their problem solving skills to advance technical and business solutions. The prototype race car is to be evaluated for its potential as a production item. Each student team designs, builds and tests a prototype based on a series of rules whose purpose is both to ensure onsite event operations and promote clever problem solving.
